Antique French St. Amand Richelieu Green Transferware Deep Plate
An antique French St. Amand Richelieu deep plate, sourced in France, with green botanical transferware on a warm ivory ground.
The Richelieu pattern has a graceful French country feel, with a leafy floral center spray and scrolling border around the rim. The transfer is clean and crisp, with the slight irregularities that make old transferware so beautiful and distinct.
The plate has a gently shaped well, making it lovely for an open kitchen shelf, plate wall, collected table setting, or layered into a French country vignette. The reverse retains its Richelieu mark, with glaze variation and an debossed mark underneath.
