Description:

An antique French lidded tureen in the Saint-Uze style, with a creamy crackled glaze, cobalt blue stamped decoration, rounded body, side handles, and a raised flower-form finial on the lid.

This piece was chosen for its surface. The glaze has aged into a warm cream tone with allover crackling and mellow golden-brown staining around the rim, base, and handled areas. The cobalt pattern has a crisp, utilitarian charm, with repeating geometric floral medallions and vertical details that give the piece a refined early 20th-century look without feeling formal.
