Vintage French Glazed Stoneware Faisselle Cheese Mold
A vintage French glazed stoneware faisselle, traditionally used as a cheese draining mold for fresh cheese.
This piece has a beautiful creamy glaze, pierced drainage holes along the sides and base, and a simple utilitarian form that feels right at home in a French country kitchen. The size makes it lovely for open shelving, a collected kitchen vignette, or as a rustic holder for herbs, or small kitchen necessities.

• Details: Glazed inside and outside, glazed inner bottom, unglazed base, pierced drainage holes, stamped “12” on the base
• Estimated age: Mid to late 20th century, circa 1950-1980
