Vintage French Yellow Glazed Stoneware Covered Terrine with Leaf Finial
A vintage French glazed stoneware covered terrine, sourced in France, with a warm butter-yellow glaze and simple oval form.
The piece has a lovely leafed finial on the lid, softly curved side handles, and the kind of understated country kitchen presence that works beautifully on open shelving, a collected table, or styled into a French provincial vignette. The underside of the lid is debossed with the number 6, and the base has blue handwritten marks underneath.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is interior staining and crazing, along with a small glaze skip from manufacturing where the stoneware material shows underneath which ads to it's vintage charm. Sold as found. Please see photos carefully.
