Without the lid, approximately 4¼ inches tall. Opening measures approximately 2½ inches in diameter, with a 2¾-inch diameter base.

Description:

A charming antique French Saint-Uze style lidded creamer, sourced in France, with scattered cobalt-blue floral decoration over a warm creamy glaze.

The rounded body, curved handle, small pouring spout, and removable lid give it the wonderfully collected character associated with old French kitchen pottery. The softly irregular decoration and visible signs of age make this an especially pretty piece for a blue-and-white or antique kitchen collection.

The base is marked with the number 3 but otherwise appears unmarked, so the exact maker is unknown.

Condition:

Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use.

There is a stable hairline at the upper edge that extends through the pottery, along with a smaller hairline toward the back. Scattered areas of glaze loss, surface wear, and variation are also present.

Use & Styling:

Beautiful displayed in a kitchen cabinet or on open shelving among old ironstone, French pottery, and other blue-and-white pieces.
