Vintage French Dijon Mustard Stoneware Crock with Original Label

Regular price $49.00

A small vintage French stoneware mustard crock, sourced in France, with its original worn paper label still attached.

The label is what makes this piece especially wonderful. Most little French mustard crocks survive as simple stoneware vessels, but this one still carries the remains of its old Dijon mustard label, giving it that collected French pantry feeling that is hard to recreate.

It can be displayed with the label facing forward for a more graphic, antique advertising look, or turned around to show the warm brown stoneware and simple handles. A beautiful little piece for open kitchen shelving, a French country vignette, beside ironstone, copper, cookbooks, or old linens.
