Vintage Enoch Wedgwood Asiatic Pheasants Teal Transferware Oval Dish

Regular price $46.00

A vintage Enoch Wedgwood Asiatic Pheasants oval dish, sourced in Paris, with a beautiful soft blue-green teal transfer design on a creamy white body. The color is not a bright blue, but a deeper teal tone that feels elegant, collected, and easy to layer with French country, English country, and cottage kitchen pieces.

The Asiatic Pheasants pattern is one of the most beloved historic transferware patterns, originally popular in the 19th century and continued through later productions because of its timeless floral and bird design. This piece is marked Enoch Wedgwood, Tunstall, England, with the backstamp referencing the firm’s 1835 founding and the original manufacture of the Asiatic Pheasants pattern.

This small oval form is especially easy to use and style. It would be lovely for butter, lemon slices, soaps, jewelry, olives, wrapped candies, or layered shelf styling. It could also be added to a plate wall, which is such a beautiful way to use small transferware pieces in a collected interior.
